What does KCA DEUTAG want to know about you?

We would like to see a fully updated CV/Resume which clearly details your professional history with a cover letter stating why you are interested in the position.

A suggested format for your CV/ Resume could be:

Your Personal Details – Including name and full contact details

Your Employment History – Start with your most recent position including dates of employment, companies worked for, installations/equipment you have worked on and the locations

Qualifications – Including certificates and courses undertaken

References – Don’t worry, we won’t contact your current employer until after we have offered you a position and you have given us permission to contact them.

Do:

• Check your spelling and use the same font throughout
• Highlight any areas of responsibility or any notable achievements.

Do Not:

• Leave any gaps in your CV (let us know if you’ve been unemployed or had a career break).

The Interview

It is worthwhile researching our company using this website prior to your interview to give you an overall idea about the type of company we are, and to gain an insight into the way KCA DEUTAG operates.

We will also need to see your most relevant training certification (i.e. if Crane Operator, a copy of crane certification, if electrician, a copy of trade/apprenticeship papers) together with a copy of your passport.

What KCA DEUTAG would expect from you during an interview

We would expect you to come to the interview fully prepared and ready to talk us through your CV/Resume which will include your experiences, interests and expectations.

Self Development and Potential – What are your goals?

Communication Skills – How effectively do you pass on information to others?

Supervisory and Leadership Skills – How well can you lead a team?

Technical Competency – How is your knowledge and understanding of drilling procedures and equipment?

We would also welcome any questions that you may have for us.

After the interview, you should expect to hear back within a week as to whether or not you have been successful. However, please do not hesitate to contact us beforehand if you have any further queries.
