KCA Deutag, one of the world’s largest international drilling contractors, today announced Andy Hendry is joining the organisation in a newly created position overseeing the worldwide land division, which operates rigs primarily working throughout the oil and gas industry in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Andy joins KCA Deutag as President of the Land Division; he will be responsible for positioning the division for the next stage of growth in both new and existing geographies.

Prior to joining KCA Deutag, Andy worked for Schlumberger, where he held the position of VP Global Capital Sales for Drilling Tools and Remedial Services. He has had a career spanning 23 years within the Smith International and subsequently Schlumberger organisations. He has held several Operational Vice President positions in a variety of businesses within the drilling sector. He has lived and worked in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and the UK.
