KCA DEUTAG Drilling Norge AS is part of KCA DEUTAG, the leading onshore and offshore drilling and engineering contractor, with its headquarters in Aberdeen.

KCA DEUTAG Drilling Norge AS is located in Bergen, at Espehaugen. We also have offices in Stavanger and in Stjørdal. We employ around 1000 employees, of whom around 300 people are working onshore.

KCA DEUTAG Drilling Norge AS offers training with DART (Drilling and Advanced Rig Training). This is an in-house drilling simulator located in our office facilities in Bergen. By utilizing DART both crew and clients can train on challenging and complicated down-hole operations before execution offshore.

We are divided into the following three business units: Drilling, RDS and Wellservice.

Drilling is our core business. We currently operate 7 rigs on the Norwegian continental shelf for Statoil and Exxon Mobile. RDS is our engineering department, consisting of 115 competent engineers with offshore experience and knowledge.

Wellservice consists of UBO (underbalanced operations), utilizing RAS and Cyclone, and S & R, our competent sale and rental department.
