KCA Deutag Appoints New SVP HR & Shared Services

KCA Deutag has announced the appointment of Sarah Walters to SVP HR & Shared Services effective from 1 March 2022.

Sarah has over 25 years of strategic international HR and organisational development experience from the rail, healthcare and oil and gas industries including ConocoPhillips and Talisman Energy, where she held senior HR leadership positions across Europe, South America, USA and Canada.

She joins KCA Deutag from Canada-based international oil and gas company Cenovus Energy, where she currently holds the position of Executive Vice-President Corporate Services, leading Human Resources, Information Technology, Real Estate & Transportation, Data Management & Advanced Analytics, Security & Investigations and the Corporate Project Management Office.

Sarah holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Human Resource Management & Organisational Development and was previously a Board member of Canada-based, Headwater Exploration. She will replace current SVP HR & Shared Services, Lynne Clow who leaves KCA Deutag to pursue personal interests after eight years with the company.
